Sırma

Sırma was born in 1992 in Istanbul, between European and Asian cultures. The boundless passion for colors and artistic figures, the important historical and cultural intertwining of her hometown, drives Sırma's creative vein, intriguing her in a significant way by making her approach different types of techniques and artistic expressions. A training path that, paradoxically, starts from the future (cubism, abstract) and reaches the past (baroque), leading it to seek a focal point, a meeting point between the two currents themselves, mixing the techniques and fundamental ideas because the "artistic solution" lies in the confluence of the present and the past.
